Homosexuality

The genuine Christian's heart toward the homosexual is one of compassion, mercy, and love. But it also constitutes a confrontation that the lifestyle is sinful, and must be changed. It is a lie to say that it cannot be changed. There are thousands upon thousands of examples of such changes on record. Homosexuality is ultimately a spiritual issue, and there is deliverance and healing through Jesus Christ!  

The scripture is clear that homosexuality is a sin. Under the Mosaic law, it was an act punishable by death:

Leviticus 20:13 states "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them."

In the New Testament, which implements the "age of grace," we see that the same standard and warning still applies in an eternal sense:

Roman 1:26-28 says "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper..."

Homosexuality is a demonic attack on marriage and pro-creation according to God's natural design. It is, by implication, an attempt to mock the picture of Jesus Christ and His bride, the Church.

Homosexuality is an immoral act that multiplies itself and its consequences throughout a culture. It degrades standards of morality and personal restraint, and celebrates lust and hedonism in contradiction to God's purposes.

The quest of for so-called "homosexual rights" is a fraud. Our founders were clear that our inalienable rights come from God, and that government exists to uphold those rights. Homosexuality is a sinful act, and would not and cannot be a "right" granted by God because the act is an abomination is His sight. If our rights come from God - and they do! - there can be no immoral rights!

Homosexual "marriage" is obviously prohibited by God, and is in reality a "counterfeit marriage." Again, another of many examples of the "legalization of lawlessness" which will collectively incure the judgment of God upon this nation.

Repentance for homosexuality is more than just possible. It is a great of desire God Himself, since He loves everyone and is not willing for any to perish (Matthew 18:4).
