Immigration and Borders

Legal immigration has been a backbone of America since our inception. Legal immigration is a privilege, not a right. That much is clear.

The greatest conflict on borders and immigration is one of "illegal alien amnesty."

Biblically speaking, it must be understood and accepted that God is a God of borders and boundaries. One can read in Exodus that God put a "border" around Mt. Sinai and ordered His people to not touch the mountain under penalty of death. He has a boundary around marriage - one man, one woman. He has a boundary around salvation - through Jesus Christ alone!

Furthermore, we know that neither God nor His Word, the Bible, ever rewards lawlessness! Crossing the border illegally is an act of lawlessness, and is not, cannot be, and never will be condoned by God.

Unfortunatley, there are many Christian leaders who are shockingly deceived on this issue, and are embracing this policy for the sake of "man-pleasing." Some very well known, national and international Christian leaders are embracing this globalist, Marxist agenda under the guise of "compassionate" immigration reform. This is a lie.

Some are even claiming that God is sending hispanics across the border to "help save America" because they're a pro-life culture. From a Biblical, Kingdom perspective, this is a ridiculous assumption.

God loves Mexico, and the people He created to live in it. He wants to restore and redeem Mexico as a nation just as He wants to restore and redeem America. There is no example in the Bible where God calls His people to abandon their post in a nation. He would never say "cease being salt and light where I put you, abandon your homeland, and cross the American border illegally." This is mindless presumption on the face of it.

The strange bedfellows of immigration reform who want socialistic voters and those who want cheap labor violate Biblical standards at every turn. The cheap labor is a violation of James 5:14. Socialistic policies are in contradiction to our Constitution, our founding father's principles, and the Bible.

One must see the larger picture of the agenda behind the lies, and it is the one-world, globalist agenda where ultimately there are no borders, only one currency, and the government controls all aspects of your life. This is NOT Biblical! And it is a reproach upon the church as a whole for leaders to embrace such a strategy of lawlessness!
