Introduction

Federal Intercessors is the governmental prayer arm of Foundation Restoration Ministries. Our primary purpose is to pray God's Biblically defined truth, righteousness and justice into our nation and federal government.

The "legalization of lawlessness" is a primary demonic strategy against America. A nation that codifies sin into it's legal system is a nation that has lost it's way, for when God and His ways are rejected from any sphere of life, failure and disaster are the inevitable consequence. Sin is a reproach to any people, but "righteousness exalts a nation." God will not be mocked!

Isaiah 10:1 warns "Woe to those who enact evil statues and to those who constantly record unjust decisions..."

And George Washington, in his Farewell Address, said:

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness."

This is our challenge in America today. Many individuals and organizations are "laboring to subvert the pillars of religion and morality" to the overwhelming detrimate of our nation. There are those who are increasinginly enacting evil statutes and recording unjust decisions in our government. None of these are deserving of the tribute patriot, for they are literally destroying the nation as the founders intended it, even as they openly and intentionally rebel against the God Who created them. The myth of separation of church and state does not mean separation of God (His truths, morality, and social order) and government. 

God's love and truth are inseperable, and to try to separate the two is to do violence to the nature of God. He is the God of truth and the God of love! There is total integrity and wholeness in His Being! There is no internal conflict! He is the Creator God, and it is to our benefit to welcome and pursue His love and truth, His moral order and standard of integrity, into every sphere of society and culture.

And so, in brief, Federal Intercessors is a Kingdom-oriented ministry seeking the fulfillment of Matthew 6:10: "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
